My initial vision was to share my musical gift with the underprivileged kids and youth groups in the community. But God broadened my perspective of music ministry by sending diverse people, and the CMP is a multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and multi-generatio community. By learning and playing music together, they experience a sense of community. Hence, the core vision for this project has been evolving from music education to community formation. As the project unfolded, the CMP was involved in the larger community events and extended its positive impacts on the community. As I reflect on my initial plan, God has led this project in a new direction and enabled it to bear more fruit than I anticipated.
